The best man is the one who drives the groom to the church especially if the groom wasn’t able to hire a chauffer to drive him to the church. The best man should see to it that he had already prepared himself ahead of time so that he can fully focus and help the groom on his wedding day. Make sure to advice the groom about the clergy fee so that he can hand out the fee to you before the wedding ceremony starts. Be the one to coordinate with the clergy. On the wedding ceremony, the best man secures the ring until it is time to hand it out to the groom.

The groomsmen can offer the bridesmaids the ride that they need especially if the wedding ceremony and the reception are not in the same place. Groomsmen should see to it that the whole entourage is comfortable. Inside the church, groomsmen may assists and escort the guests to their designated side of the church. Groomsmen may also help the guests locate their seats in the reception hall. One of the groomsman should secure the guest lists while the other one may asks the guests to register their name in the guest list. This is only applicable if this is the kind of set up that the newly weds want. Speech are normally given out by the best man but of course the groomsmen can also give out their speech if they want or if they are ask to do so. As a general rule, a wedding speech should be inspirational and it should center the newly weds. Avoid giving out speech that merely spilled the beans because you’ll never know how the bride’s side might take it.
